Inclusive Business Model for Female Workers

According to the report done by bdnews24, Bangladesh’s RMG industry contributes to 80 percent of the country’s total annual export revenues. It currently employs about 4 million workers, about 70 percent to 80 percent of whom are women. 15 years to 35 years reproductive age group of people are involved mostly in this sector.

The ambassador of the kingdom of the Netherlands and State Minister for Women and children’s Affairs spoke on the one year celebration of SNV Netherlands Development Organization’s project that created a ‘business model’ for ensuring sexual reproductive health and rights of the female garment workers.
