‘Men must change their outlook,’ says President
“Women have progressed in many areas but they are yet to enjoy their rights fully. In order to bring that change, men must change their outlook.”

On Dec 26, the President spoke at the golden jubilee event of Lalmatia Mohila College.
“I believe that through combined efforts of men and women we can turn Bangladesh into a developed nation and fulfil Bangabandhu’s dream of golden Bengal.”
The President said, referring to women’s empowerment, women’s progress at home and abroad has spread beyond the boundaries of the house. Right now, women have a bold input in politics, economics, socialization, art and culture, sports and society.
He also emphasized on how men needs to change their attitude to establish women’s right everywhere, highlighting the different initiatives taken by the current government for the betterment of women.
