RedOrange Communications, the host organisation of Share-Net Bangladesh, has been awarded the prestigious Power of Family Planning Award 2025 at the International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP), which ended this weekend in Bogotá.

The award recognises organisations whose initiatives demonstrate how reproductive health can drive positive impact across multiple sectors. This year, eleven initiatives from around the globe received the honour. RedOrange’s project stands out as the only one from Bangladesh.

The Dutch–Bangladeshi communication and social innovation company earned this global recognition for developing a pioneering behaviour change model designed to address deeply rooted social issues such as child marriage and gender-based violence.

RedOrange’s approach builds on years of experience in social and behaviour change communication (SBCC), creating adaptable, evidence-based frameworks that connect reproductive health with wider goals in education, equality and community development.

“We are deeply honoured to receive this award at ICFP 2025,” said Arnob Chakrabarty, Managing Director of RedOrange. “I’m very proud of our team. We’ve always believed that real change starts with listening and empathy. This recognition proves that when people come together, communication can truly transform lives.”

The Power of Family Planning Award celebrates organisations that innovate at the intersection of health, equity and social change — recognising how family planning can serve as a foundation for broader progress in wellbeing, rights and resilience. With this recognition, RedOrange continues to expand its mission to integrate behavioural science, storytelling and design in tackling complex development challenges — in Bangladesh and beyond.
