About the organisation

On the memory of International renowned cosmic nuclear scientist Dr. M. A Wazed, Dr. Wazed Research and Training Institute, Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur was established on December 3, 2009, for the purpose of establishing a complete, independent and world-class academic education and research institute in North Bengal.
