FAPA BANGLADESH
Introduction:
FAPA Society WeIfare Sangstha was established in 2011 by Engr. Sibbir Ahmed, as its founder Executive Director. FAPA Society Wefare Sangstha is registered with department of Social Welfare and Reg. No. is JA-00198 as local NGO in Bangladesh, which has started working in Sreepur Upazila since 2011. FAPA also have registration with Department of Youth Development Reg. No-GAZI-490 Sreepur 238. To support disadvantaged children, youth and their families in rural and semi-urban communities of Sreepur Upazila under Gazipur district. The Founder president Engr. Sibbir Ahmed has been working as ED of the organization. There is an Executive Committee consist of 7 renowned people of Sreepur Upazila and 21 General members are supporting the organization to grow it as good local level development organization for the children and Youth wellbeing.

FAPA PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO WORKING CHILDREN

sucess-2 Sani, a 12 years old boy, lives in Sreepur Slum,Gazipur. He used to earn a living by selling cigarettes. After receiving basic education offered by FAPA, he can now read and write his name and address. He can identify English and Bengali alphabets. FAPA has recently bought Sani a tea-pot and a set of 6 tea cups. Sani now sells tea to passer-by in his spare time.

FAPA HELPS A DESTITUTE WOMAN

In 2011, APON donated a sewing machine to a destitute woman to help her meet the basic needs of her family by engaging in income generating activities.

FAPA MOBILE SCHOOLS FOR STREET CHILDREN

FAPA stated its education project in 2010 and since its inception more than 600 street children have had the opportunity of receiving basic education at the various centres of FAPA School thoroughout Dhaka city. In 2012, 40 students of FAPA School were enrolled in formal schools on FAPA’s initiatives..
