Share-Net Bangladesh (SNBD) has officially announced the Research and Innovation Grant 2025, inviting young changemakers to transform their ideas into sustainable SRHR business models under the inspiring theme “SRHR Business for the Grassroots: Turning Knowledge into Business, Business into Impact.”

Since 2017, SNBD has been at the forefront of advancing Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) knowledge in Bangladesh through its flagship Annual SRHR Knowledge Fair. Over the years, it has nurtured a culture of youth-led research and innovation, offering a platform for emerging thinkers to bridge the gap between research, policy, and practice. The 2025 Grant marks a transformative step forward, shifting the focus from academic exploration to entrepreneurship, where SRHR is envisioned as a driver of both social transformation and economic empowerment.

Amid global funding constraints, SNBD’s Research and Innovation Grant aims to inspire sustainable, community-driven business models that continue to create impact long after donor support ends. The initiative encourages applicants to connect SRHR knowledge with enterprise development, from youth-led digital solutions and inclusive businesses to eco-friendly menstrual product enterprises and grassroots innovation hubs and beyond.

Applicants aged 18–35, including university students, young professionals, entrepreneurs, and grassroots innovators, are invited to submit proposals that demonstrate creativity, feasibility, and measurable community benefit. Selected project(s) will receive BDT 200,000 and mentorship from SNBD to transform their idea into a tangible prototype or enterprise model.

Beyond funding, the Grant offers visibility and recognition. Grantees will present their innovations at the SRHR Knowledge Fair 2025 and 2026 gaining a national platform to influence SRHR practice and policy while demonstrating how knowledge can power entrepreneurship at the grassroots.

Through this initiative, Share-Net Bangladesh reinforces its vision of a self-sustaining SRHR ecosystem, one where young innovators are not just advocates but architects of change, proving that when knowledge meets business, communities thrive.
