Strengthening SRHR through Immunisation: Key Vaccines Supporting the Health of Women and Children in Bangladesh

As World Immunisation Week 2025 comes to a close, Share-Net Bangladesh reaffirms its commitment to strengthening Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) through equitable and timely access to life-saving vaccines. In Bangladesh, vaccines like HPV, Hepatitis B, Rubella, and Tetanus Toxoid (TT) play a crucial role in protecting the health of women and children, preventing cervical cancer, liver disease, congenital birth defects, and life-threatening infections.

Immunisation is more than a medical intervention; it is a right, a tool for empowerment, and a key to breaking intergenerational cycles of poor health. As we move forward, let us ensure that every woman and child, regardless of location or background, receives the vaccines they need to thrive.

Following World Immunisation Week, Share-Net Bangladesh is spotlighting the power of vaccines in safeguarding women’s sexual and reproductive health (SRHR).
