Call for Abstracts: International Conference on Food, Environment, and Culture (ICFEC 2025)

Are you working on research that connects food, the environment, or culture? Here’s a great opportunity to share your work with an international audience. Benguet State University (BSU), Philippines, is hosting the International Conference on Food, Environment, and Culture (ICFEC 2025) — and they are inviting researchers, scholars, professionals, and students to submit abstracts for presentation.

The good news? The deadline for abstract submission has been extended until August 31, 2025.

This extension gives you more time to prepare and polish your abstract. If your work fits within the themes of food systems, environmental sustainability, cultural practices, or related areas, this is your chance to take part in meaningful discussions that bridge science, community, and practice.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

When preparing your extended abstract, please keep in mind the following requirements:

• Title: Use Arial font, 14 pt, bold, centered.

• Author details: Include the names, positions, affiliations, and contact information of all authors. Mark the presenting author with an asterisk (*).

• Abstract content:

  • Maximum of 600 words (2–3 pages).

  • Include one important figure or table that highlights your results.

  • Use visuals to explain your findings as clearly as possible.

  • Provide captions for any figure or table (caption goes above a table and below a figure).

• Keywords: Add up to five (5) keywords immediately after the abstract, italicized. Choose specific terms and avoid general or overly broad words.

Poster Presentations

If you are considering presenting your work as a poster, here are some quick pointers:

• Poster size: 30” x 40” (portrait orientation).

• Title: Maximum of 18 words, in capital letters, bold, Times New Roman (size 72 minimum).

• Text: Keep it brief and visual. End with a short conclusion (around 50 words). Use Times New Roman, size 26 minimum.

• Design: Organize your content in a clear sequence to guide the reader’s eye smoothly from one section to the next.
