About the organisation

NECT is a non-profit, non-government development organization committed to improving the lives of people less fortunate in Bangladesh through participation and empowerment. It was established in 2008. Since 2018 NECT have been doing, community development works especially among the poorest community where helping their life and development. NECT implements program in various sectors, caring to the needs of vulnerable communities especially of the women and children and youths. The organization believes that there is no simple solution to reduce/eradicate poverty. As such, in order to overcome poverty, it is necessary to address the range of issues that poor people face on a daily basis. Tackling issues in an integrated, sustainable manner, NECT aimed at improving quality of life of most vulnerable people of the communities. Almost 15 over groups of women Self Help Groups have been formed primarily for growing saving habits and internal lending to initiate petty business venture for income and developing the leadership in rulal and sector. Both women and men were encouraged for Pond-based Integrated Farming with vegetable garden, fish cultivation, raring duck and hen and vermin-composting through improved method in their homestead land and the products are used for both consumption and selling purpose.

Native is doing the activity all over the Bangladesh Now it is collaborating with the local national NGOs and International level. In the beginning, there was only Dhaka and Khulna division working, But our Executive board approved from 2019, all over the Bangladesh to work. NECT adopts an Integrated Sustainable Development Model, which works in five main areas:
• Livelihood and Women’s Empowerment
• Health and Nutrition
• Water, Sanitation and Hygiene
• Education and child Protection
• Environment and Disaster Response
• Food security and development and Community peace building

• To empowering women for a culture peace, and rising voice in every community by women Leadership in Bangladesh.
• To develop the women and girls bythe leadership development training who can work for the community and every Upzilas.
• To establish networking and communication with the local NGOs and CBO and government offices.
• To conduct seminar, meeting, training and workshop and awareness of the women and children right and equality voice.
• To provide free medical health services and nutrition for pregnant women and girls and community children.
• To stop dowry, rape, persecutions and early child marriage by law of the government Help and support.
• To create good awareness of women empowerment by darama, music and cultural program for peace building in the community.
• To helping the religious minority people who are suffering in the local.
• To do all such lawful things to this project and giving security and freedom for women working in Bangladesh.
• To help the poorest girls and women for educational support and vocal training as a part time job opportunity so that they can be helpful for their family income support person.
• To take good decision for every activities by staffs and volunteers discussions, evaluation and monitoring.
• To solving conflict among the community people and building peace everywhere in the target area.
• To higher government officers of women ministry who can also participate of the events or seminar and training program.
• To invite the media, local newspapers for publishing our activities
• To inform the local government police during the rally and national events for security
