94% Women are agitated in public transports regularly
An article published in The Daily Star on 23rd April 2018, reports a case of harassment of a university student, who was travelling in “Turag Paribahan.” When the victim got on the bus from link road there were only few passengers, the staff oddly stopped taking passengers which seemed alarming to her so she tried to get down but while attempting to do so she was constrained.
Hundreds of students of Uttara University protested for her justice.
Though she somehow managed to save herself from the probable molestation by hurdling down from the running bus, she suffered from a severe leg injury.
