Call for Contributions: LOVA Journal of Gender Studies & Feminist Anthropology #41

LOVA offers a platform for anyone within and outside of academia with an interest in feminist anthropology and gender issues from an anthropological perspective. For LOVA Journal issue #41 we invite you to submit an abstract for research articles, essays, fieldwork reflections, interviews, book reviews and announcements.

Research articles will be selected for publication according to (ethnographic) quality, originality and methodological and/or theoretical novelty. These articles of maximum 6000 words will be peer-reviewed. Fieldwork reflections,essays, and book reviews can vary from 700 to 2000 words. LOVA Journal also welcomes visual contributions, such as illustrations, photographs, drawings, maps, info-graphics – all of which can be experiential and experimental.

LOVA in particular encourages Master’s and PhD students to publish their ideas and findings in the journal. LOVA Journal also welcomes contributions of graduates working within a non-academic environment or employed by a university or research institution.

LOVA Journal invites authors who wish to publish on issues related to gender and feminist anthropology to submit an abstract of no more than 200 words to journal@lova.networkbefore June 14, 2020.
