Call for joint proposals for Institutional Collaboration Bangladesh SRHR – Orange Knowledge Programme Open calls
Deadline: 6 November 2018 – Call for joint proposals to improve the health of factory workers in the ready-made garment sector by integrating SRHR information & services in Bangladesh
Consortium partners can submit a grant application for an institutional collaboration project to improve occupational health and safety, increasing access to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) in the Ready Made Garment sector (RMG). In the current discussions around living wages and better workplace policies, SRHR remains a neglected aspect. SRHR should be embedded in the workplace, improving the RGM factory workers’ health in an inclusive manner.
Who can submit a proposal?
A grant application may be submitted by any one of the partners that plan on jointly implementing the project. This can be a Dutch institution for secondary and higher vocational or academic education; or a national or local knowledge institution or organisation (knowledge institution, ministries, national commissions or non-governmental organisation) in Bangladesh that contributes to capacity development in the area of higher and vocational education within the local priorities as set out in the CPI. Please check the eligibility criteria in the subsidy policy and the call document:
Either partner can be in the lead and is then directly responsible for submission of the grant application. If a grant is awarded, this lead partner will be the grant recipient, who will be responsible for implementing the activities for which the grant was obtained and for complying with the obligations and conditions connected to the grant.
The total available funding for this call is maximum EUR 900,000.
Closing date for submission
