Focus on health providers to lower the unmet need for contraception in Bangladesh

The study was conducted by researchers from Abt Associate and SHOPS Project Bangladesh. The Researchers found that misconceptions in providers is creating negative effect towards contraceptive use among women. It was also found that all providers, and especially doctors, lacked adequate knowledge regarding side effects for all LAPMs, particularly female and male sterilization.
