Gender and livelihood training may be beneficial for out-of-program population as well.

Child Marriage is currently the most important public health concern for Bangladesh, which affects also maternal and child health outcomes in later life. The study was conducted by researchers from Population Council where the intervention was given for 18 months in three arms and compared with a control area. The researchers found that child marriage was effectively reduced in all three arms. There was significant improvement for participants compared to non-participants. Even in case of livelihood and gender training arms, the study found improvement for non-participants when compared to the control group at 10% level of significance.
