Knowledge Fair 2018

Share-Net Bangladesh organized a Knowledge Fair on SRHR to bring its Community of Practice (CoP) to share their existing knowledge and experience, addressing program and research gaps and contribute to the development of better policy and practice. The knowledge fair was held on 9th September, 2018 at Spectra Convention Centre.

Aim:

The aim of the knowledge fair is to stimulate thinking and exchanging knowledge to advance learning and promote dialogue on SRHR through scientific seminar, plenary, poster presentation and youth booth. Moreover, the knowledge fair aims to enable researchers, policymakers, practitioners, donors, change makers and media to come under one roof to work on SRHR to connect, collaborate and build relationships.

Objectives:

  • Facilitating dialogue on critical issues of SRHR and setting up an agenda in the media
  • Strengthening the network among the stakeholders and organisations to increase the exchange of knowledge, experience and best practices
  • Strengthening the collaboration among stakeholders and organisations from a range of constituencies to ensure joint advocacy

Activities:

  • Plenary
  • Scientific Seminar
  • Poster presentation any issue related to SRHR
  • Stalls for member organisations to showcase their work
  • Youth Hub- Small workshop for 25 young participants

Plenary:

  • Plenary on Gender Based Violence.
  • Plenary on Sexuality education for young people
  • Plenary on SRHR for people with Disabilities
