Lack of waste management of pads detrimental to environment

Sanitary napkin and diaper use in Bangladesh is going up, and so is the spread of contagious diseases. This is due to a lack of waste management. Improper disposal of these daily necessities can cause detrimental effects for humanity.

Researchers say that the plastic materials used to make napkins and diapers takes around 300 years to decompose in soil, which may lead to severe environmental consequences.
