THE POLITICAL REALITIES AND PRAGMATIC CHOICES OF MARRIED ADOLESCENT WOMEN IN URBAN SLUMS
This paper discusses the unanticipated complexities when writing on reproductive rights for poor adolescent women living in slums. The lived experiences and decisions made by these women, their families and slum communities beg reflection on the disconnect between international legal human rights frameworks as applied in such contexts.
