Two Young Researchers Win Grant of BDT 250,000 each

Two young researchers won a grant of BDT 250,000 each for their research.

Md Arif Chowdhury, a student from Institute of Water and Flood Management (IWFM), Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), will do his research on ‘Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) for Girls with Disabilities in Dhaka’ under the supervision of Dr Sara Nowreen, Assistant Professor, Institute of Water and Flood Management (IWFM), Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).

Sanjida Bintey Ali, a student at Jahangirnagar University, pursuing Masters of Urban and Regional Planning, will do her research on ‘A Study of Violence Against Transwomen Community of Dhaka’ under the supervision of Professor Akter Mahmud, Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Jahangirnagar University.

They will do their research within 3 months and submit the paper on 31st October. They will present their researches in Share-Net Bangladesh’s Knowledge Fair which will take place at the end of this year.
