Unmet need of contraception contributing to rise in unintended pregnancy in Bangladesh.

Unmet need for contraception and unintended pregnancy are important public health concerns both in developing and developed countries. This study was conducted by researchers at Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China. The researchers found that there is a 16 folds increase in odds of people who faced unmet need of contraception to have an unintended pregnancy compared to those who did not.
