Intervention on SRHR and violence against women and girls in Dhaka slums

Dhaka is one of the fastest growing metropolises in the world. Young population move to Dhaka in unprecedented numbers searching for work every year. Many women and girl who live in slum faces poorer sexual and reproductive health outcomes and they are more vulnerable to sexual violence.

The SAFE programme evaluation tested new combinations of interventions to address the poor sexual and reproductive health status and the epidemic of violence experienced by women living in urban slum areas.
