Position Name: Gender, GVB and Protection Advisor Position
Job Context
Reporting to: Team Leader
The duration of the proposed contract will be for Six (6) Months

- Masters or advanced degree in relevant subject area.

- 5 to 7 year(s)
Job Requirements
- 5-7 years’ experience with a minimum of three years’ work experience of gender in emergencies, protection, and GBV programming.
- Proven experience combining formal expertise on gender mainstreaming and gender equality with experience of applying these concretely to specific humanitarian program sectors, plans, policies and processes.
- Strong knowledge of IASC Gender Handbook and GBV Guidelines.
- Demonstrated field experience working in camps or spontaneous/informal/makeshift settlements.
- Knowledge of training tools and methods and proven experience delivering training on gender, GBV, and protection in humanitarian programming.
- Strong skills in designing and delivering training to a number of different stakeholders.
- Strong interest and motivation to work in inter-agency coordination.
- Strong capacity to manage competing priorities and multiple grants.
- Excellent interpersonal and staff management skills.
- Strong communication skills in both verbal and written English and Bangla.
- Computer skills on MS word, Excel, PowerPoint.
