Empowering young girls through football

Unicef Bangladesh signed a two year agreement with Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) on December 3. This agreement will play a huge role in empowering young Bangladeshi girls. Unicef and BFF will work closely to organise talent hunts and football tournaments annually in all 64 districts to encourage more girls to participate in football.

BFF president Kazi Salahuddin said that this initiative will bring numerous hidden talent into limelight. He also said that sports play a vital role in promoting equity.
