MoU between IYAFP and SERAC-Bangladesh signed

The International Youth Alliance for Family Planning (IYAFP) based in Washington DC in USA, and SERAC-Bangladesh have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to support each other’s activities around young people’s sexual and reproductive health services and rights in Bangladesh.


The International Youth Alliance for Family Planning is an alliance of young individuals, youth associations, organizations, and communities with a common mission to support provision of comprehensive reproductive health care services with a particular focus on family planning for youth. It’s aim is to give young people aged 15-30 around the world an accessible platform to advocate for sexual and reproductive health and rights.

Upon this contract, SERAC-Bangladesh will host the country office of IYAFP at it’s office(s) and support the Country Coordinator of IYAFP with necessary logistics, working space, and human resource as required for events and projects to be implemented in the country.

The MoU was signed jointly by the Chairman of SERAC-Bangladesh Md. Rafiqul Islam, and Co-Executive Director of IYAFP Jillian Gedeon on February 7, 2017.
